The pact of submission
The Bay Fall practice is based on the pact of submission. That pact is made between the disciple and his master who must know the science of the unseen. The spiritual guide, then shows the way and help the discipline in his quest of the Eternal God, the Most High. In making the pact the disciple gives testimony to obey to all he is commanded by his Master.
Mame Cheikh Ibrahima Fall, the iniator of the Bay Fall practice said that salvation lies on the following principles:
- Faith
- optimisme (good thoughts)
- dynamism in the worship
- self-gift (sacrifice),
- Humbleness/Humility
- strict respect of the Master's commands.

Zikroulah/ Sam Fall
The Zikroulah holds an important part in the Bay Fall rituals. It is a choral that chant and glorify the Holy names of GOD the Almighty .
The formula "La ila ha ila LAH" is the most exhalted among them.
This practice is taken from the teachings of the Holy Koran. For illustration, we have the verse "The invocation of ALLAH is the most great" or "The invication of ALLAH purifies the hearts" to name but a few.
The Convenant of Work
The Bay Fall is first of all a die hard worker. In fact, work is a way to achieve self realisation and autonomy. Above that, it is a means of educating the carnal (bestial instincts) and of allowing the Soul to enter in covenant with God.
The masters hold some plantations where many of their disciples go to work in order to obtain honestly and purely their food because only pure food can be a good food for the Bay Fall.
The Bay Fall community is involved in all the sectors of developpement with a more interest into trade and agriculture.
Trade was the job of the prophète Mouhamed (pbh) so it is a prophetic tradition. That allows a direct contact with people and a good relationship. The Bay Fall has got all these qualities thanks to their openmindness.
Agriculture allows a direct contact with Nature and makes life possible.
